Semiconductor and display equipment maker STI has been chosen as KOSDAQ Rising Star by the Korea Exchange, the company said on Thursday.
The Korea Exchange has been selecting Rising Star companies since 2009 to promote KOSDAQ. A total of 34 companies were chosen this year.
They are chosen by a committee comprised of experts that review companies’ market share, profitability, growth potential, technology, financial stability as well as the capabilities of the CEOs.
STI said its central chemical supply system that was used to design the world’s first automatic clean quick coupler, along with its market share were received well by the committee.
“We will continue our research and development as well as investments for the future to become a global company,” a STI spokesperson said.
