Samsung Electronics will run pre-orders for its Galaxy Tab S7 series from August 18 to 22 for South Korea, the company said on Friday.
The regular Galaxy Tab S7 comes with a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) for the first time for a flagship tablet. It has used LCD for Tab S7 Lite launched earlier this year, a lower tier model.
Samsung back in 2014 stressed that OLED panels was its Tab S series’ biggest strength.
China’s CSOT has supplies its 11-inch LCD for the Tab S7. Samsung Display provided the 12.4-inch OLED panel for the Tab S7 Plus.
Samsung said the two tablets’ S Pen has 80% faster response time compared to their predecessors. Both panels have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
