SK Telecom said it has applied its quantum security technology on a banking app, on Thursday.
IM Bank app run by DGB Daegu Bank, when paired with Samsung Galaxy A Quantum smartphones, will have the technology, the telco said.
The QRNG, or quantum random number generator, chip on the smartphone will create random numbers for the security authentication when using the app.
