Samsung Electronics has supplied its digital signage for a drive-thru McDonald’s restaurant in South Korea, the company said on Monday.
The company supplies eight display panels __ including its SMART outdoor signage __ for the restaurant in Goyang City, north of Seoul.
The SMART outdoor signage is dual-sided and will be used by customers place their orders and staff to check on the orders.
Samsung has been supplying its signage to McDonald’s in South Korea since 2011.
The installation of the signage has improved advertisement exposure and saved printing cost for the chain, the South Korean tech giant said.
Samsung also supplied its management solution called MagicINFO so that McDonald’s Korea can remotely control all menus displayed on signage in its restaurants.
The South Korean tech giant will continue to supply its signage for new drive-thru McDonald’s that open in the country, it added.
