First 6 week sales higher in iPhone 12 than 11
Apple’s iPhone sales in the fourth quarter this year is expected to exceed that of last year’s, market research firm CounterPoint said.
The recently launched iPhone 12 began sales a month later than iPhone 11, the firm said, so December sales of iPhone 12 is expected to greatly increased.
Shipment is expected to increase 21% year-on-year in the fourth quarter.
The first six weeks sales of iPhone 12 was also higher than that of iPhone 11, CounterPoint noted.
Pent-up demand for a 5G iPhone was high and sales event in China and the US is boosting sales, it added.
