SK Innovation has launched a car management app, the company said on Monday.
Called Muffin, the app, launched by SK Energy, the company’s subsidiary, allows users to register their refueling pattern, automobile plate numbers and payment method on it so that they can pay instantly at fueling stations.
Users can also use their voice to command the app so that payment can be made right away when they are near the stations.
SK said it will later add repair, insurance, cleaning and parking features to the app later. The firm signed cooperation agreement with six car care services and parking companies in May for the service, it said.
Only twenty fueling stations in and near the capital Seoul supports Muffin but this will be expanded to 200, the company said.
