LG Electronics has launched the LG Nanocell AI ThinQ TV, model name NANO87, in South Korea, the company said.
The TV received level 1 in energy efficiency, which makes it eligible of up to 10% rebate of the purchasing price capped at 300,000 won from the Korea Energy Agency. It is the company’s second TV model after LG UHD TV AI ThinQ to receive level 1, the firm said.
Nanocell TV layers 1-nanometer particles atop Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to improve color inaccuracies.
NANO87 has an in-plane switching panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Dolby Vision IQ among other HDR formats and Dolby Atmos surround sound.
The 65-inch model will cost 2.44 million won and 55-inch model 15.9 million won. A 75-inch model will launch next month, the company said.
Pre-orders for the 65-inch and 55-inch model will be available at LG Electronics’ online and offline stores until July 19.
