It has a 4K IPS display with 1ms response time
LG Electronics has globally launched its UltraGear gaming monitor (model name: 27GN950), the company announced on Tuesday.
It comes with a 4K IPS panel with 1 millisecond response time as well as refresh rates of 144Hz. The monitor won the CES Innovation Award earlier this year.
UltraGear's panel is also a nano IPS display __ in which nanometer sized particles are applied to the backlight. LG claims this makes the colors rich and accurate. It reaches 98% of the color standard DCI-P3.
The monitor supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Radeon FreeSync.
In South Korea, UltraGear will cost 1.09 million won and has begun selling on Monday.
