The 47-inch glasses will be for a European premium car
JNTC will be supplying the 3D cover glass for a European premium vehicle launching next year, the company said on Thursday.
The company said it finished preparation to ship its 47-inch 3D unibody cover glass.
JNTC built a pilot line for glasses aimed at cars back in 2018. It built a commercial production line has finished supplying samples to the unnamed client.
Supply will begin in the second half of the year for the premium vehicle launching sometime in the first half of 2021.
The South Korean firm was the first to produce 3D cover glasses for handsets. Last year, it made the world’s first keyless cover window.
A company spokesperson said it was preparing for various new, innovative devices to expand its revenue stream.
