LED maker GeunVit (GV) has become a member of UNOPS, the company said.
The organization under the UN supplies 20 trillion won worth of goods a year to 170 countries in need.
GV will be supplying its early alarm system LED street lamp to UNOPS, it said.
The lamps has IP cameras that can detect and alert when ocean and river levels rise, wild animals are detected as well as landslides.
GV will add Wi-Fi capabilities to the lamps, it said.
The company said it hoped to expand to Central Asia, Central and Southern America and Africa.
