LG Uplus said on Thursday that it posted operating income of 251.2 billion won and sales of 3.34 trillion won for the third quarter of 2020.
Operating income soared 60.6% year-on-year while sales increased 5.9% for the same time period.
The telco continued its growth streak of the second quarter, when it saw operating income increase by 59.2%.
The company saw sales for its service business increase 14.4% year-on-year to 2.65 trillion won.
Handset business saw sales decline of 17.7% from a year ago to 69.1 billion won.
LG Uplus’ third quarter CAPEX stood at 596.3 billion won. Its CAPEX up to the third quarter this year stood at 1.59 trillion won, or 64% of its expected CAPEX of 2.5 trillion won.
