LG Electronics has launched a new laser projector that supports 4K resolution.
The new Cinebeam Laser 4K Projector has what LG calls triple screen adjustment.
The projector can adjust the lens top, bottom, left and right. The screen can be expanded by up to 1.6 times. The screen can be extended or contract at twelve point of the edges.
This allows consumers to install projectors in different locations and still get a square screen, LG said.
The projector supports 4K UHD and a contrast ratio of 2 million to one.
It also has a maximum brightness of 2,700 ANSI lumens.
The projector supports a variety of popular HDR formats, including HDR10 and HLG, as well as Dynamic Tone Mapping.
It also has Adaptive Contrast automatically adjusts each frame to achieve the optimal contrast ratio in darker scenes.
The projector comes with LG’s webOS software that allows it to be connected to the internet wirelessly for viewing YouTube or TVING. It also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth as well as WiSA.
The projector’s price in South Korea is 3.79 million won.
