With Asan city where it is based

Samsung Display on Thursday said it has signed an agreement with the Asan City and South Chungcheong Province to improve water quality and recycle them.
Samsung Display CEO Choi Joo-sun, who was named to the top post on Wednesday, met with government officials for the signing ceremony.
The company will provide its used water, around 20,000 metric tonnes a day, for recycling. Asan will use the water for agriculture and maintaining of rivers.
Samsung Display uses water from the nearby Daecheong Dam in display panel production. The use water, after processing, is disposed in a nearby river. The company disposes around 140,000 metric tonnes of water a day.
The firm was applying more stringent rules than the law requires them in processing water.
