
SK IE Technology has turned in its preliminary application to the Korea Exchange in preparation of listing on KOSPI.
The company was formed in April last year by splitting off from SK Innovation. SK IE Technology produces battery separators and polyimide films for displays.
SK IE Technology completed its factory in Changzhou, China this year and secured a production capacity of 870 million square-meter of separators per year. The company is currently constructing another factory in Poland.
The company aims to secure a production capacity of 1.87 million square-meter per year by 2023.
Last year, the company posted 263 billion won in sales and 80.6 billion won in operating income.
Mirae Asset Daewoo and JP Morgan are underwriting the listing. Korean Investment Securities and Credit Suisse are also co-underwriters.
