To supply 60,000 units by 1st half of 2021
Truwin said on Monday that it will supply brake pedal sensor to Chinese electric car firm NIO.
It will supply 60,000 units within the first half of 2021, the company said.
The sensors are used to measure the voltage when drivers press their pedals. It sends the electric signal from the measurement to the controller.
Truwin had supplied the sensors to South Korean company HKMC, a tier-1 supplier of Hyundai Motor Group.
It had won an order for 90,000 units from Ford as well.
