LG Display said on Thursday that it will show off various display solutions for remote services at the upcoming CES 2021 that starts on January 11.
The South Korean display panel maker said the theme of its exhibition will be “Display, now the real world comes to you”.
LG Display will showoff its 88-inch 8K Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO), 77-inch Wallpaper OLED among other display panels that shows how the technology is close to how the human eye views colors naturally.
There will be 11 concept zones, including smart home, game and restaurant.
A smart bed that combines a bed with a 55-inch transparent OLED will be shown at the smart home zone. The bed frame that has the OLED panel can be separated from the bed to be moved around the house. The OLED panel can be used to check the weather or watch TV, LG Display said.
In the game zone, the company’s 48-inch bendable CSO will be shown. The panel will stay flat when watching TV and curved when used for playing games. Premium IPS LCD gaming display will also be shown in the zone.
The restaurant zone will show off a sushi restaurant with a 55-inch transparent OLED acting as a partition and menu board between the customer and the chef. There will also be a 23.1-inch in-touch display for ordering. A retail zone will show both 29-inch and 23-inch displays being used for order and inventory.
LG Display stressed that its OLED panel received low blue light certificate from TUV Rheinland and flicker free certificate from Underwriters Laboratories. It also received a certificate for low blue light by Eyesafe.
The online exhibition will be open to all visitors.
