Intel and Google Cloud on Tuesday said they will collaborate on developing telco cloud reference architectures and solutions.
These will allow telcos to accelerate the deployment of virtualized RAN and open RAN solutions, the pair said.
They will also allow service providers to innovate for cloud native-based 5G networks and deliver business applications to the network edge.
Overall, the telco cloud reference architectures and integrated solutions from Intel and Google will help service providers further accelerate scalable network and edge deployment as they implement multicloud architectures, the companies said.
It will help service providers reach the full potential of 5G, edge and artificial intelligence across a range of industries, including retail, manufacturing and healthcare, they added.
