
LG Electronics said on Monday that it will launch a new 15.6-inch model of LG Gram notebook next month in South Korea.
LG Gram 15 will have a 16 to 9 ratio FHD (1920x1080) IPS display.
The 2021-model LG Gram 16, which was unveiled in December, had a screen ratio of 16 to 10. The screen is WGXGA (2560x1600) IPS.
LG said the new 15.6-inch model was being launched for customers use to the 16 to 9 screen ratio. The new Gram will have ultra-slim bezel and a hideaway hinge, the company said.
The new notebook will weight 1,120g and carry an 80Wh battery. It uses Intel’s Gen 11 TigerLake CPU, which is 20% faster than in data processing compared to Gen 10 CPUs. The new chip will also have Iris Xe GPU.
LG said it will have add black and silver color options for the 2 in 1 notebook Gram 360 series. Black will be added for the 14-inch model and silver for the 16-inch model. Gram 360 can be used as a notebook or tablet.
