AP Systems said that its accumulated sales up to the third quarter this year from fab equipment increased 60% year-on-year.
The South Korean display kit maker said it has recorded 55.9 billion won in sales from fab equipment up to the third quarter, or 16% of its total.
The latest figure is its highest year yet, the company said, as it recorded 40 billion won in sales from fab equipment in 2020 and 21.4 billion won in 2019.
AP Systems said it was aiming for its fab equipment business to account for over one-third of its total sales.
In the long run, the business is hoping to secure 300 billion won in annual revenue, the equipment maker said.
AP Systems is pushing rapid thermal process equipment, which was first used in the production of NAND and is now also being used in DRAM.
The company also supplies bump sputter, fan-out panel level package sputter and OLED deposition equipment.
AP Systems added that it was also hoping to supply equipment for the fabrication of non-memory chips at a later date.
