Display and fab equipment maker AP Systems said on Thursday that it has recorded 528.7 billion won in revenue and 64.3 billion won in operating profit in 2021.
While the revenue figure is a drop of 11% from 2020, operating profit jumped 39% over the same time period, the company said.
AP Systems said revenue dropped from contracted spending by customers in reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, growth in the fab equipment and OLED production equipment led to the growth in operating profit, the firm said.
Fab equipment sales contributed 60 billion won in revenue last year, an increase from 40 billion won in 2020 and 21.4 billion won in 2019, AP Systems noted.
