Company touts new production method

Samsung SDI said on Monday that it will build a pilot production line for solid-state batteries at its lab in Suwon.
The line will take up 6,500 meter-squares of space, the company said, and will use new equipment and production methods.
Specifically, the company will use cell assembly equipment that offers smoother movements of ions inside the battery. It will also use new equipment for plating and solid electrolyte injection, Samsung SDI said.
