In 32GB UDIMM and SODIMM form factors

SK Hynix said on Tuesday that it has developed a DDR5 DRAM with a speed of 6400Mbps.
Samples of the DRAM in 32GB UDIMM and SODIMM form factors were given to customers, the South Korean chipmaker said.
Both modules are used in PCs but SODIMM is an ultra-small one.
SK Hynix said it used its recently developed clock driver on the modules to improve the clock signal quality problem that is prone to happen at high speeds.
Meanwhile, in August, the company received customer verification for its Gen 4 10-nanometer server DDR5 module that comes in 16, 32 and 64GB.
In September, it received verification for the module with the same specification for PCs.
