SFA said on Wednesday that it has signed a contract worth 142.1 billion won with Tianma to supply display production equipment.
The South Korean equipment maker will be supplying its logistics equipment to the Chinese display panel maker.
Tianma will be using these kits for its Gen 8.6 liquid crystal display (LCD) production factory being built at Xiamen.
SFA’s subsidiary in China also won a separate order from the Chinese display panel maker but SFA didn’t disclose how much it was worth.
The South Korean firm won 1.3 trillion won worth of orders last year, it said, an increase of 60% year-on-year.
SFA’s revenue comes from display production equipment as well as machines used in lithium-ion battery production.
In December, it became the largest shareholder of battery production equipment maker CIS.
