Ex-Daum, Naver exec joins the Chinese giant

Huawei’s South Korean operation has named a new chief security officer (CSO), the company said Monday.
The post will be taken by Lee Joon-ho, the former co-CEO of SsenStone, a South Korean financial security tech firm.
Lee was also formerly the chief information security officer (CIO) at Daum and CISO at Naver. He won the CISO of the year award given by South Korea’s tech ministry in 2014.
Huawei has invested more in security than any other global companies, Lee said in a statement, adding that he will work to connect the Chinese tech giant with the local IT industry for co-development.
