LG Electronics will run a reward program for customers returning their old TVs before buying a new OLED TV, the company said on Tuesday.
Customers can turn in their old LED and LCD TVs. They will get up to 2 million won worth of benefits for any new OLED TV they buy except those on display on stores and 48-inch OLED model.
The old models can be turned in to the installation engineer who will come to install the new OLED TV.
The program is available at LG’s own and partnered offline stores as well as its online mall. A hundred of those who register online for the program will get LG ToneFree wireless earphones as gifts.
LG said they were running the program as it expects most people to stay at their homes during the holiday season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
