Telefield has clinched a 7 billion won supply deal to supply packet transport network (PTN) kit from Korea Railroad (KORAIL).
The 1TB PTN kits will replace the currently used 2.5Gbps multi-service provisioning platform (MSPP) equipment.
Telefield said its latest 1TB PTN offers high data transfer speed than its previously supplied 720Gbps PTN.
The company won a similar order back in November worth 2.9 billion won for PTN kits for use in railroads of South Korea’s metropolitan areas.
