For lowest blue light among panels

LG Display said on Tuesday that its OLED panel have received certificate from Eyesafe.
Eyesafe measures blue light emissions in devices. The certificate is given when out of the total blue light emitted, below 50% is not harmful and out of total visible light, harmful blue light only accounts for below 0.085%.
LG Display said harmful blue light only accounted for 34% of blue light emitted in its 65-inch OLED TV panel. This is half of the emission of premium liquid crystal display panels of the same size.
LG Display said LCD TV’s LED backlight causes more blue light compared to OLED panels that don’t have one.
Eyesafe certificate was co-developed by TUV Rheinland with ten eye doctors in the US and Europe.
