PI Advanced Materials said on Monday that it will pay 50% of its annual net profit this year as dividends for shareholders on December 31.
The polyimide film maker has been paying over 50% of its net profit as dividends every year since 2016.
As of the third quarter, PI Advanced Materials had accumulated 47.8 billion won in net profit this year, an increase of 54% from a year ago.
It is highly likely that the company will record over 60 billion won in annual net profit this year.
Korea PI Holdings, which owns 540.7% shares of PI Advanced Materials, will likely secure over 32 billion won in dividends by this estimate.
Glenwood Private Equity is thought to effectively own all the shares of Korea PI Holdings.
Glenwood is led by CEO Lee Sang-ho, the son of Lee Hak-soo, previously the vice chairman of Samsung Group.
