Samsung Electronics has globally launched its curved gaming monitor, the Odyssey G9, the company announced on Wednesday.
The 49-inch G9, first unveiled at CES 2020, boasts a dual QHD (5120x144) resolution.
The QLED monitor has a screen ratio of 32:9, a 1000R curvature, 1000nit peak brightness and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
It also has G2G 1ms response time and Nvidia G-Sync Compatibility and Adaptive Sync on DP1.4, Samsung said.
The monitor comes with a gloss white exterior as well as housing what Samsung calls Infinity Core Lighting, which allows 52 different colors and five lighting effect options behind the display.
The G9 also has VESA Certified DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
It will cost 1.9 million won in South Korea and begin sales on Thursday.
